You will receive Potted Staurogyne repens of 4. Staurogyne repens is a beautiful bright green, compact plant with a low, bushy stature and stiff brownish stems. Newly discovered in the aquarium hobby and is scientifically proven to be closely related to Hygrophila. When planted in the aquarium, the longest upright shoots should be trimmed to encourage new horizontally creeping shoots. Can divide stems and plant in close groups; if previously grown emergent, the emergent leaves will die off or need removal during planting. Horizontally creeping shoots form a low, compact foreground carpet. Ideal growth in the medium to bright light, with supplementation of CO2 and nutrients. Potted plants are better to start with then "bunched" plants as they have their entire root system intact which makes them less likely to go into shock when transplanted into your aquarium and spread much faster. Planting Instructions Potted plants are started in rock wool. To plant remove as much rock wool as possible. Most of the rock wool will pull off. If you have any left and want it off, shake the plants gently by holding it by the plant and shaking in water. Leaving some rock wool will help anchor the plant in your substrate. To separate the plant into individual plants grab the stems right above the root and pull gently. The roots should separate if they don't stop pulling and try other stems. Swirling this plant in water will help each individual plant separate easier. Only plant the root in your substrate, not any of the plant itself or this can cause melting or shock
